Pulling up I thought to myself this isn't going to be good. The place is not fancy by no means. It's very small and only had one bartender/ waitress. She was super nice and did her best keeping up with the bar and tables. This place is know for a steak a reno sandwich, which most of our party ordered. I took a suggestion from a friend and ordered the 1/2 slab of ribs. Thankfully I listened, because they were the best ribs. I absolutely loved the BBQ sauce. Don't let the looks of this place fool you. The food is dynamite. Not one person complained. This was my first time ever being there and I would go back for those ribs. This place is for sure a diamond in the rough. Try it out, you will not be disappointed.

A great local place to stop in for beverages or a good meal. Their selection of sandwiches and entrees covers all the bases and everything is prepared perfectly. And don't forget their pizzas, they're a hit too. I really love the staff here, they're so friendly and always remember you.

This family owned restaurant has been open for 5 or 6 months. It is a throwback to a place of the same name and family that was located in South Chicago Heights. They have a simple menu with the favorites from the old place. I had the alfredo and tomato pizza. It was delicious. I prefer a little more garlic and our waitress brought out a some garlic powder. Nice selection of beer and friendly staff. Reasonable prices, plus this restaurant is family friendly. Give it a try. 7-10-23. - had a really good pizza here last night. Service was great and friendly.

This is my wife's and my favorite place to go for lunch. I always test a restaurant by trying out their beef sandwich first. If it's good the place is a keeper. I've never been wrong before! The food is good and the service is great! I've never had a bad experience here. It's a bar and grill like atmosphere with plenty of seating and charm. They have a great selection of drinks. The burgers and waffle fries that come with the meal are incredible.

Really nice, cozy place, multiple big screens, a wrap around bar, and booth seating. The drinks and food are on point. I had a steak sandwich it was delicious and tender with an amazing chared surface. It also has a cozy slot machine room. The bar maid was very attentive and courteous. Mature locals like to dine here. Convenient parking in the lot.

1st time here today 9/16/24 Monday special.....I ordered the slab of ribs w fries....excellent reminded me of a place yrs ago where my mom worked in Phoenix IL Pete & Mary's Rib House . Tender fell right off the bone. I will be back to try other menu items. You cannot go wrong with the ribs

Nice clean place. Limited menu for lunch. Chicken sandwich was very good. Only thing we both made comments about was- it was a small plastic cup for a $2.75 pop. Will go back but will drink water.

Old school bar with great specials. Very friendly people, felt like Cheers in there. Got the $8 Italian beef special with a side. Amazing price for these days. Beef was delicious with lots of beef on it. For the side I got the French onion soup and that was also very good and a good portion. In this age of shrinkflation and crazy prices on food, it was a pleasant surprise. I will be back for sure to try other menu items. Too bad I live an hour away...😐

My husband suggested we come here and I’ll admit, I was a bit unenthused by the small, pub-style setting. I was so wrong, and I will never assume again! Norenna is so welcoming and quick. We had the brawny burger and the chicken tenders, both really good! Tenders have a good crunch to them, burger was juicy, and the beer is pretty cheap!
